JamieJamie Brown is the 6th generation on the farm, and farming is in his blood. He is a co-owner of TLV Tree Farm and wants to show youth that farming is a lot more than grunt work.
Linda BrownLinda Brown has been farming since she was 16. She is the co-owner of TLV Tree Farm and looks forward to making sure campers are safe and having fun.
Jen PostonJen has been on the farm for the past 10 years helping with anything that comes up. She is looking forward to helping all campers have fun and learn more about agriculture.
Charlie Ashcraft"Farmer Charlie Ashcraft" has over 30 years of experience in education in the Howard Country Public School System. His relationship with TLV farm began in the mid 1980's when Farmer Jamie was a student in his 7th grade Social Studies class. Charlie has extensive experience in Outdoor Education and Summer camps, as a counselor, Program Manager & Coordinator. He also has developed and written Curriculum for Outdoor Education.
Katie BennettFarmer Katie Loveless is a recent graduate from Towosn University, after earning her degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has always had a love for agriculture and a love for working with children - she is so excited to be able to combine her to passions to work as the director of Farmer Brown's camp! Katie grew up raising pigs in Howard County 4H and is happy to be back on the farm!
Jennifer BriganteFarmer Jennifer Brigante will be a sophomore at Clemson University this fall where she studies bioengineering. When not at school she lives with her family on their farm in Woodbine. Jennifer has been in 4-H since a clover at the age of 5 and will graduate from the program this year. She enjoys teaching youth and loves serving as a junior leader in many ways through 4-H. Jennifer was also honored to receive the title of Miss Maryland Agriculture 2016 3rd Runner Up this past August!
Katelin JohnsonKatelin Johnson is a long-time 4-H friend of Farmer Brown, and has shared lots of experience in Agriculture with the community. She is an alum to the Howard County 4-H program and is currently the leader of the 4-H Beef Club. Katelin held the title of the Miss Howard County Farm Bureau 2014, where she interacted with the community to be an Agriculture Advocate! She is currently a student at the University of Maryland and can’t wait to start her career as a Special Education teacher!
Erika HagenErika was brought on to the Farmer Brown team for her skills in visual communication and background in entrepreneurial marketing. She's a creative problem solver that is always knee-deep in a new craft project, and loves supporting grassroots programs. She is both a portrait photographer and a graphic designer that passionate about her work.
